ASP SiteWare autoDealer Ver. 1 is a web based vehicle listing application. Backend by Access database, autoDealer Ver. 1 can store thousands of vehicles in category with images. Each vehicle is displayed with full detail and description. You can customize autoDealer Ver. 1 to sell only the vehicles that you want to offer your customers. autoDealer Ver. 1 is an excellent add-on application for your web site. It is designed to be a complete ready-to-use dealer vehicle listing. You just add your inventory and graphics. Start selling your vehicles online and attracting more customers to your site by using this application.

autoDealer Ver. 1 is an easy-to-use ASP-based application which can be completely customized to seamlessly match your site's look and feel:

autoDealer Ver. 1 comes with a Web-based Admin panel, you will be able to perform all of the following:

- Fast, real time image uploading
- Add new category, delete existing categories
- Add new vehicles, edit and delete existing vehicles

SET UP

After you unzipped autoDealer1.zip, you can either rename Auto1 folder to something else you prefer such as "dealer" or "listings" or keep its original name as Auto1.

Finally, use an FTP program such as CuteFTP or WS_FTP_PRO to upload all files and folders to your site server.

If your site domain is yourdomain.com, and you do not rename the original main folder autoDealer1, and you upload this whole autoDealer1 folder to the root of your site, the URL to your autoDealer1 front page is:

http://www.yourdomain.com/Auto1/

The URL to Admin is:

http://www.yourdomain.com/Auto1/admin

The default Admin account is

Admin ID: admin
Password: password

Login and you will be able to change the default password to something else.
Cutomizing the Layout

Basic customization of the existing layout can be done very quick and easy:

To change the logo:
Create your own graphic image in the design and colors you like. Size should be 800px wide x 75px high. Name it and save it as Logo.jpg. Copy it and paste it into the assest folder overwriting the old logo file.

To change the footer:
Open the inc_footer.asp file and change the necessary information and background color to meet your requirements.

To change the menu items:
Open the inc_menu.asp file and change the name of the menu items and the background color to your requirements. Create a hyperlink to the appropriate page in your web site root folder for each menu item.

To change the menu item colors:
This application is customized using Casscading Style Sheets (CSS). Two such sheets are used for this application. They both may be found in the assets folder. They are:

auto.css - controls the actual style on the application pages in both the user and admin sections
style.css - controls the actual style on the inc_header.asp and inc_footer.asp files in the main folder only

To change font type, size, color and link color simply edit the appropriate section of the style sheet(s).
